Succulent Care Guide
Because succulents come in an amazing array of shapes, sizes, and colors they are super fun to mix and match in your favorite container. Succulents are highly collectable. And, with over 60 different plant families containing some succulent species there’s an almost unlimited selection to find and choose from.
How to Water
Water sparingly — once every 2 or 3 weeks. It's best to water too little as succulents can rot if soil is too moist. If in doubt, it’s better to keep it a little too dry than a little too wet.
How Much Light
When it comes to cacti and succulents, there’s one simple rule — the more light, the better! A sunny windowsill is perfect, but succulents can also thrive under artificial lights.
How to Fertilize
Slow-growing cacti and succulents don’t need a lot of feeding, but if you want them to grow bigger, faster, use a general-purpose product in spring and summer. Follow the directions on the packaging to know how much fertilizer to use.
The More You Know!
Super easy to grow! Most succulents can live for decades, and they don't require repotting very often due to their small root systems.
